Matt is a licensed insurance agent with over 24 years of experience in the industry. He began his career as a customer service representative and eventually trained to be a sales executive helping his clients properly insure their autos, homes, businesses, and lifestyle. Matt's expertise has made him one of the top sales producers in the state.

Matt is married and father of three children and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.

Tom DiMaria
Producer / Customer Service Rep

Tom is a licensed insurance agent and has worked in the industry for 35 years. In addition to his work in sales and service, Tom is also a qualified claims adjuster. Tom earned an MBA in Insurance Education at the University of Hartford and a BSBA from the University of Denver in Colorado.

Tom is a native New Yorker who now resides in Connecticut with his son. Tom's vast experience has been invaluable in helping agency clients to obtain the right coverage for their autos, homes and businesses.

Renee LaMarre
Customer Service Rep

Renee has been in the insurance industry for a little over two years now. She is renowned for her amazing customer service and dedication to clients.

Renee is a Connecticut native who enjoys spending time with her daughter. She is also an Ovarian Cancer Survivor who shows us all how to live every day to its fullest.

Sandy Aubin
Customer Service Rep

Sandy is currently a customer service representative for Empire Insurance Network. Before joining the Empire family, Sandy worked in auto insurance claims where she excelled in customer service. She has been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years. Sandy enjoys helping people on a daily basis.

Sandy is married with one son. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with family and friends.

Pete Marcano

With more than 15 years as a licensed Property & Casualty professional, Pete Marcano provides clients with expert coverage knowledge and effective risk protection. After a successful career shift, Pete spent 17 years as an Operations Manager in the staffing industry, earning recognition for his leadership, strategic thinking, and outstanding client service.

Now, as he returns to insurance, Pete blends his extensive experience with a people-first philosophy. He is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses navigate their coverage choices, believing insurance should be clear, straightforward, and personalized to each client. Pete’s mission is to build lasting relationships and serve as a trusted resource for his clients.

Outside of work, Pete enjoys family time, community involvement, and sharing his love of music and dance—especially salsa.
